Makes me wish I knew the author and his whole family. Delightful stories written from Manchester, the center of the universe. Easy, entertaining book.
Alan is a great storyteller, he paints a great picture of human interaction.
A quick, easy read of some delightful stories from Mr. Bamber's experiences as a sewing machine repairman. Looking forward to the next edition! -)

As a Bernina owner I enjoyed the book. I would have given 5 stars if there hadn’t been curse words in it.
Alan tells tales so well I can see the people and places in my mind. I hope he writes another book.
